All action professional boxing is back in Plant City, Florida on Friday, March 25, as French super lightweight Mohamed “The Problem” Mimoune faces off with unbeaten New Yorker Cesar Francis atop an action-packed ProBox Promotions card.

The well rounded Francis, a 9-0 (6 KOs) Brooklyn resident from Panama, had a career-best win his last time out. In October, “The Rainman” downed unbeaten (16-0 at the time of their bout) Jose Roman at Barclays Center. Mimoune is a crafty lefty, fighting under the Roy Jones Jr. Promotions banner. His last time out, in February 2020, Mimoune fought for the WBC International super lightweight crown.
In the co-main event, heavyweight Christian “Hurricane” Thun, a 6’ 9’’ German behemoth, takes on 6’ 6’’ foe Amron Sands, fighting out of Orlando. His backers believe the 260 pounder Thun has the skills to rise the ranks and become heavyweight champion of the world. First, the 7-0 (5 KOs) hitter must deal with the 270 pound Sands (11-1, 9 KOs). It’s a good bet this clash of prospects results in a knockout.
Patrons will enjoy the pro debut of heralded Puerto Rican talent Jan Paul Rivera, a featherweight who won two straight Puerto Rico Elite National Championships (2020, 2021) in the course of a 200-plus bout amateur run. Also, Milwaukee, Wisconsin talent Daniel “Ice Man” Blancas, a 13-time national amateur champion, will have his pro debut on March 25. The 6’ 4’’ middleweight has an aggressive style which will quickly endear him to fight fans in South Florida, and beyond.
Paulie Malignaggi, Roy Jones Jr, Antonio Tarver and Juan Manuel Marquez, aka ‘The Big 4;’ will be in the building on fight night, so get pumped up for a stellar night at the fights!
